Financial Planning for Creative People During Volatile Times

  • The basics of the financial markets
  • Knowing yourself: Are you a stock or a bond? What if you are a penny stock?
  • What’s happening now in the world financial markets?
  • Getting from A to B: The linear path or through the Wormhole?
  • Question and Answer Period
This presentation will cover the history and basics of financial planning and financial markets. The discussion will include topics such as real estate, entitlements, and liabilities -- including his Five Guiding Principles for Personal Financial Planning:
  1. risk and reward
  2. diversification
  3. trends
  4. control
  5. self-assessment
Mr. Miller will review the five principles as they apply to the creative community. He will interweave information about where the markets have been, are currently, and may go. In light of the presently volatile markets, he will provide a step-by-step process to help creative people with long-term financial planning.
