Basic Bookkeeping for Creative Artists: Part-1

With Cristina Lopez

This basic bookkeeping class will explain and simplify accounting terms for the practical life of a creative artist. The class will help you understand accounting theories and will provide a step-by-step guide to the bookkeeping process. Creative artists will leave with the skills they need to manage their personal books and finances to ensure their arts business is profitable and sustainable. Get your bookkeeping records ready for our "Relax with Tax" tax-prep seminars coming soon in early 2013!

Cristina Lopez is Chief Executive Officer of Lopez Iwata and Associates, a local bookkeeping and accounting firm focused on helping small businesses grow and become sustainable. Cristina has taught bookkeeping classes for the Small Business Development Center. Her firm works with a variety of artistic and creative clientele.
