MEDIATION PANEL ORIENTATION & TRAINING

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided

This training provides an overview of the California Lawyers for the Arts – Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services panel and program. At the training, you will learn about cutting edge arts and entertainment issues, discuss advanced mediation techniques, and engage in arts and entertainment specific role-plays. Upon completion of the training, attendees may be eligible to mediate through the California Lawyers for the Arts – Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services Panel.

To be eligible to attend you must have completed a minimum of 25 hours of mediation training from an approved certificate program

Training Fee: $120.00
Additional MCLE Credit: $80.00

AAMS, a program of California Lawyers for the Arts (CLA) has provided alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services to artists, arts organizations, performers, entertainers, and other members of the general public since 1980. ADR allows parties in legal and non-legal disputes to resolve their disagreements in an efficient, cost-effective, and confidential manner. While disputes resolved through AAMS are generally related to arts and entertainment, we are able to help resolve disputes of any kind. AAMS is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the California Arts Council.
