Using ADR to Resolve Disputes in the Arts and Entertainment World

With Christina Wiellette Duran, Esq.

Is mediation or some other form of alternative dispute resolution a better way to resolve conflict in the arts community? This webinar will explain the Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services program of California Lawyers for the Arts including ADR services provided, the community mediation model and co-mediation, our volunteer panel and new pilot party-select program in LA, and case administration.

Presenter

Christina Wiellette Duran, Esq. is a graduate of Stanford University and UC Hastings School of Law, Christina joined California Lawyers for the Arts (CLA) in January 2010 and now serves as Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services (AAMS) Program Director for the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been trained by the Center for Law and Mediation, Community Boards, and the Northern California Mediation Center. At CLA, Christina has organized and led several programs providing basic mediation skills training and advanced skills development for experienced mediators.
