Program Description: 

Join CLA and insurance broker Greg Jones for a presentation focusing on the fundamentals of obtaining production insurance for films--an essential subject for all filmmakers. The program will feature information about basic production insurance coverage – including cast insurance, general liability, and errors and omissions (E&O) insurance. It will also include a discussion of supplemental coverage for extraordinary circumstances on a film set (e.g. watercrafts, aircrafts, stunts, etc.) as well tips about choosing the right insurance broker for your film's needs, and why it matters.

Presenter:

Greg Jones, ARM, is the Managing Director of the Film & Television Division of Robertson Taylor International Insurance Brokers. He has been in the business of providing production insurance to the Film and TV industry for over 35 years. During his long and distinguished career, he has worked with every major studio, insured over 1,000 feature films, thousands of TV commercials, and hundreds of TV shows.

Greg has lectured on production insurance at numerous institutions of higher learning, including USC Cinematic Arts, UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television, and the Fox School of Business Graduate Program at Temple University.
