Program Description: 
Join William Turner, Esq., owner of the William Turner Gallery, Alexandra Darraby, Esq., principal of The Art Law Firm, representing clients affected by Ace bankruptcy and the California resale royalty act,  Stephen J. Goldberg, counsel for Ed Moses for a discussion on the specific and concrete steps artists, collectors and gallery owners can utilize in buy-sell and consignment agreements to ensure transparency, operational efficiency, and legal compliance.

Learn the terms of art consignment, how the resale royalty is calculated and paid, and when to benefit from UCC Article 9 filings. In a world where the government tells its citizens to monitor airports for their own security, this panel has some much simpler and more effective ways to safeguard the art legacy, whether you or your clients are creators, dealers or collectors.
