This session will cover:
• Using creative right-brain tools as an alternative to traditional methods

• Identifying and targeting your core audience  
• Writing an accountable action plan to make it real

Presenter:  Michelle Alexander, TEDx Speaker, social entrepreneur, nonprofit consultant and passionate creator.

From 2008-2015 she served as Executive Director of the Sacramento Arts and Business Council, managing all aspects of the nonprofit chapter of Americans for the Arts. She has provided leadership for Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson's For Art’s Sake Initiative, and launched the region’s first “Flywheel" Creative Economy Incubator to provide a curated group of artists, nonprofits and small creative companies with intensive training and support.

Currently Alexander consults on nonprofit management, business management for arts professionals, technology, online giving, social media and mindfulness. She is a licensed facilitator of the award winning program, the Right Brain Business Plan, which provides creative entrepreneurs with the visual tools to manage their businesses. She has been a presenter at TEDx Sacramento, and instructor for the Sacramento Nonprofit Resource Center and  teaches meditation at the High Mountain Well-Being Center.
