Immigration & US Visas for Creative Artists

With Junwen Lin, Esq

This workshop addresses the nuts and bolts of procuring work visas and green cards on behalf of international artists who wish to live and work in the United States. The pros and cons of different visa options for artists will be discussed, with special emphasis on the O-1 artist visa.

Presenter: Junwen Lin, Esq. is an attorney licensed in Asia (Singapore) and the United States (California), specializing in US immigration law. He is also an avid jazz pianist who currently plays in the Los Angeles area with various jazz ensembles. As an immigration attorney he is passionate about helping international talent obtain the appropriate US visa(s) to pursue and develop their careers in the States. As both an immigrant and an artist himself, he sees this as a meaningful way of connecting with and helping people with similar stories.
