"I have a Tax and Financial Planning Services practice in San Francisco, CA. I started the practice in the late 1970s while employed at UCSF. Initially, my clients consisted of employees at the University but, I expanded my base once I left the University in the early 1980s.
I became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in the mid-1980s and by the late 1980s I purchased a national tax franchise. Under the franchise I expanded the business into bookkeeping, audits and financial services. I had the franchise for 10 years and left at the end of the 1990s when the national franchise was sold. By then I had accumulated approximately 400 individual and business clients.
Currently, I spend the bulk of my time during individual and business tax returns. Over the years my clients have included many forms of the Arts but, mainly musicians, writers and artists."
