About our Speaker:
Lisa A. Cervantes is the founder and owner of IP Legal Studio, LLC, a private entertainment law practice in business for over 21 years. Throughout her career, Lisa has specialized in film, TV and music, clearing and resolving various copyright and trademark disputes. She has negotiated thousands of licenses and entertainment related agreements on behalf of artists, producers and directors. Registered and certified in practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and WIPO (Madrid System), she works with entities of all sizes to protect, license, assert and defend rights in intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Lisa regularly lectures on copyright, trademark and entertainment law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL), and has presented at Cal Western School of Law, University of San Diego School of Law, National University in Los Angeles, and University of Turin, Italy.
