25 Hour Basic Mediation Skills Training

Learn the Art of Mediation and Conflict Resolution

This training is open to those who are new to mediation, as well as those who wish to refresh their skills. Topics include the mediation process, communication and listening skills, confidentiality, neutrality, ethics and much more. The training is in-person at our LA office, uses solo and co-mediation roleplays, and is DRPA compliant.

Whether you are in law, human resources, social services, education, or business management, wish to develop your interpersonal skills, or are starting out on a new career path, you will find the Basic Mediation Skills Training indispensable. For those interested in applying to volunteer on our community or court mediator panels, this training and certificate are essential.

You must attend all 25 hours to receive a mediation certificate.

18 MCLE credits are available for attorneys. To purchase MCLE, please check the MCLE box when registering for the event. You must attend all 25 hours of the training to receive MCLE credit.
