California’s Resale Royalty Act, signed into law in 1976, has recently come under legal scrutiny, in a court decision currently under appeal. In this discussion, attorney Eric George, of the firm representing the artists in this matter, will speak with the audience and CA Arts Council Vice Chair, and gallery owner, William Turner, about the current status of the act and pending litigation.
