If you missed Part 1 in the series, there's still plenty of time to plan on Parts 2, 3, and 4!  Each workshop covers a specific topic of Business & Legal Basics for Artists, so we hope you will join us at one or all of the three remaining events!

Open to artists, attorneys, producers, and creative entrepreneurs, Workshop 2: Licensing offers a clear overview of licensing fundamentals—both for your own work and when incorporating others’ creative material. Led by Carissa Bouwer, Of Counsel at DLA Piper LLP, this in-person session will examine key deal terms, practical issues, and common challenges in collaborations and commissions. Attendees will be equipped with tools to protect creative control, limit risk, and pursue new licensing opportunities.

Attorneys are welcome; MCLE credit is available for an additional fee.

Students may attend for free.
